Come join us in the Stroller Stride Squad walking groups in Downtown Vancouver, and in Richmond. Stroller Stride Squad walks provide an opportunity to gather with other new moms who are looking for emotional support, meet other mom friends, and move their body gently. Groups run for 12 weeks in each season (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter) and offer a supportive space to walk, talk, and share, while receiving fresh air and gentle exercise. There is no charge to participate, however, donation is appreciated. Registration is required.

  1. Summer Stroller Stride Squad- Vancouver

    • When? Thursdays from Jun 6th to Aug 29th, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am

      Meet at 9:45am. Depart at 10:00am.

    • Where? False Creek

      We will meet in Cooper's Park, under Cambie bridge.

    • Cost: $10.00 suggested donation for the entire season (Jun-Aug), or $5.00 for half the season. If you would like to donate, please e-transfer to blossomingcorner@gmail.com. Cash or cheque donations are also accepted in-person at walks.

    • Themed Walks & Events: Themed walks, like holiday-themed walks, baby milestones celebrations, or fitness-focused walks will be announced on this page 1 week in advance.

    • To celebrate our last walk of Spring, we will be having breakfast together before the walk. Location will be determined as we get closer to the date.

    • Maximum number of participants is 10 (plus Alaa), so please only sign up if you know you can make the walk. If you have to cancel, please let us know by Tuesday. This gives us time to contact people who may be on the waitlist.

      We are not able to welcome drop-in walkers at this time.

    • Exceptions:

      • There will be no walk in the week of Jun 17

      • Jul 1st walk will be postponed to Jul 2nd due to Canada Day

      • Aug 5th walk will be postponed to Aug 6th due to Civic Holiday

  2. Spring Stroller Stride Squad- Richmond

    • When? Mondays from Jun 3rd to Aug 26th, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am

      Meet at 9:45am. Depart at 10:00am.

    • Where? Garry Point Park

      We will meet in the parking lot of the Garry Point Park.

    • Cost: $10.00 suggested donation for the entire season (Jun-Aug), or $5.00 for half the season. If you would like to donate, please e-transfer to blossomingcorner@gmail.com. Cash or cheque donations are also accepted in-person at walks.
